Job Description

As a Kitchen Helper, you will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our professional kitchen. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values respect, punctuality, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

· Restock and prepare food, packaging, and materials

· Memorize and comprehend menu items, order abbreviations, food portions, and presentation standards

· Follow in-house recipes and special orders to prepare food

· Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

· Adhere to all sanitation, food preparation, and storage codes

· Maintain a clean kitchen, equipment, utensils, and appliances

· Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements

· Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, dough sheeter, dough mixer, food shredder, slicer, grill, stove, deep fryer, etc.)

· Prompt, organized, and reliable

· Treats customers and coworkers with respect and appreciation

· Works well with others and thrives in a fast-paced environment

· Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Qualifications

· Preferred: Proven experience as a pizzeria or restaurant kitchen helper, cook, or in culinary arts or related fields

· Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques

· Ability to hit the ground running and learn quickly
